Landscape

Extend Your Living Space

Upgrading your landscape with a patio not only increases your living space and curb appeal,  but is also a great way to enhance your property’s value.

While interior decor and design concepts can go out of style, plants grow fuller and more robust as the years go by and hardscape can be permanent.

First impressions are important, and when a buyer sees your home for the first time, the condition of the landscape is the first measure of how well the property has been cared for.

A well-conceived design that doesn’t require significant maintenance is ideal. Add splashes of color with potted flowers and install budget-friendly solar lighting for a bit of drama and a welcoming ambiance.

For this DIY project, the cost was moderate as the field of the patio is constructed of inexpensive “Box Store” pavers.   A palette of decorative pavers refined the space with borders and an accent feature in the fireplace area.

Approximate cost of materials $3500.
